Neon Shepherd: Free Online Cyber-Highway Puzzle Game
Neon Shepherd is a free browser puzzle game with a glowing wireframe look. You guide abstract android units across a multi-lane cyber-highway, using heavy triangles and fragile circle civilians, and lead them all to the exit gate without breaking the road or the rules. There is nothing to download or sign up for, and it works on desktop, tablet and phone.
How to Play Neon Shepherd
- Select a unit by clicking or tapping it. The selected unit has a white pulsing frame.
- Move it one tile by tapping a neighbouring tile or using the arrow keys or WASD. Small white dots show where it can go.
- Reach the green gate on the right. Units that enter the gate are safely extracted. Clear every unit to finish the level.
- Keep hover-lanes stable. Each horizontal lane can carry only one heavy triangle. If two triangles share a lane, it destabilises and the level fails.
- Protect civilians. A civilian next to a high-voltage drone is overloaded unless it stands on a buffer node (the green double square).
- Beat your best. Fewer moves means a better score, saved for each level.

Tips for Beginners
Study the lanes first: heavy units are the bottleneck, so decide who crosses which lane and when. Yellow-tinted tiles beside a drone are danger zones for civilians. Use undo freely to test ideas, and plan the order in which units use a narrow gate.
Neon Shepherd FAQ
Rules, controls and mobile play.
Is Neon Shepherd free to play?
Yes. It is free, runs in your browser and needs no download or account.
Why did my level fail?
Either two heavy triangles shared one hover-lane, or a civilian stood beside a drone without a buffer node. Press Undo or Reset to try again.
What are buffer nodes?
Buffer nodes are green double-square tiles. A civilian standing on one is protected from nearby high-voltage drones.
Can I play on mobile?
Yes. Tap a unit, then tap a neighbouring tile. Use the Fullscreen button for a bigger board.
